The GAC Aion Hyper GT Global Model, a pure electric sedan, officially hit the market on June 6. Boasting an impressive cruising range of 710 km under the CLTC testing cycle, this car is expected to be exported to regions including Europe and Thailand.

The Hyper GT is built on an 800V high-voltage platform known as AEP 3.0, which enables fast charging capabilities—achieving a 450 km range in just 15 minutes. Its aerodynamically efficient design is highlighted by a drag coefficient of only 0.1975Cd, complementing its striking low-lying fastback shape.

Inside the cabin, the GAC Aion Hyper GT is equipped with cutting-edge technology. It includes an ADiGO Ecosystem featuring multi-lingual ADiGO SENSE AI assistant and advanced driving assistance through its Mapless Hyper Pilot program. The interior isn’t short of luxurious either, sporting color schemes like Afternoon Macchiato and Elegant Orange Brown with an ensemble of modern tech gadgets like a 14.6-inch touchscreen with Qualcomm Snapdragon chip.

Acceleration is provided by a rear-mounted electric motor with a maximum output of 250 kW and peak torque of 430 Nm, coupled with an 80-kWh ternary lithium battery pack to deliver a CLTC range of 710 km.

In China, the Hyper GT all-electric sedan will be available in three trim levels with a price range of 203,900 - 259,900 yuan (28,100 - 35,900 USD). The new EV has already undergone road tests in Europe and Thailand. As the name suggests, the Hyper GT Global model is expected to be exported overseas.
