Rivian is all set to launch a new set of connectivity features under its Connect+ service this summer, as announced by the company. The new inclusions will be an in-vehicle hotspot, Google Cast, YouTube, and real-time satellite images.

Connect+ will be made available later this summer with a pricing plan after a free trial period. Existing Rivian owners can enjoy two months of free access; after the trial, the service costs $14.99 per month or C$19.99 in Canada. This suite includes current features like over-the-air software updates and live navigation, adding more value with data for music streaming apps like Spotify, Tidal, and TuneIn.

The enhanced features also incorporate Apple Music and a Gear Guard live cam feature that will become available progressively across the coming months. Additionally, to use streaming platforms such as YouTube via Google Cast on their vehicles, owners need to have their own accounts.
