BMW Group Designworks has teamed up with Infinix to launch the new M branded smartphone, the Note 40 5G Racing Edition. The device is set to attract "young tech enthusiasts" with its design, customized UI and price, starting at $209.

The partnership marks a significant step for Infinix as they introduce the Note 40 5G Racing Edition as part of their larger Note 40 series. This series includes several models such as the Note 40 4G, Note 40 5G, Note 40 Pro 4G, Note 40 Pro 5G, and the premium Note 40 Pro+.

The design of the Note 40 Racing Edition features an exclusive back panel inspired by "Speed and legend." It hosts customized user interface called and incorporates BMW’s iconic tri-color racing symbols. The special design uses advanced UV transfer printing technology.

Although built around the same hardware specifications as its standard counterparts in the series, this particular edition different speaks volumes about cosmetic innovation. There are no changes under the hood when compared to other models in terms of functionality or performance.

The Racing Edition of the Note 40 4G, Note 40 5G, Note 40 Pro 4G, Note 40 Pro 5G and Note 40 Pro+ starts at $209, $259, $279, $309 and $329 respectively. These will be available worldwide, but pricing will vary by region.
