Jeep has announced a refresh of its model range. By 2027, the brand will introduce three new vehicles, including an electric version of the Renegade crossover.

The Jeep announcement was made at the Investor Day 2024 organised by parent company Stellantis. Perhaps the most interesting news from this event concerns the Jeep Renegade. Last year, it was reported that the crossover would be retiring with the end of production of the 2023 model year Renegade. However, it turned out that there was a brief pause for the compact crossover before the release of a new, all-electric version.

So, the Jeep Renegade will return as a 2027 model with a price tag of around $25,000 for the battery-electric version. Along with the Renegade, the new Jeep Compass will be unveiled.

In addition to the already known names, a third, as yet unnamed SUV has been included in the announcement. It is designated as a D-segment vehicle, which will be placed a step below the Grand Cherokee, next to the all-electric Wagoneer S and Recon. By the way, the Jeep Recon will go on sale in the US next year.

With these new plans, Jeep hopes to increase its global sales from one million to 1.5 million vehicles. The company also wants to expand its production in the States from 760,000 to more than one million vehicles per year.
