Ferrari's future electric car is the company's biggest secret. All that is known at the moment is that it will be built in a new factory in the company's hometown, will be released in the last quarter of 2025 and will cost at least 500,000 euros (about $537,000).
The asking price is rumoured to be for the base version, but it is unlikely that any customer will buy a Ferrari without additional options. You can buy a Ferrari SF90 Stradale for almost the same price.
Ferrari's head of marketing, Emanuele Carando, recently said that the brand's first electric will have an "authentic sound" and will be a "real Ferrari".
The company predicts that the as yet unnamed model will account for around five per cent of total sales in 2026. Electric cars are also expected to account for 40 per cent of all annual deliveries by 2030.
