The MG HS is gearing up to showcase its latest redesign at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 11. The SUV, which draws its design from the latest generation Roewe RX5, promises upgraded features including a unique front face, sportier bumpers, and distinctive headlights.

MG released a teaser video highlighting the sharp lines and aggressive new look of their second-generation MG HS. The SAIC-owned brand's video revealed elements like an advanced grille and revised tailgate details that align with modern styling trends in SUVs.

The upcoming model of the MG HS offers a range of powertrain options aimed at enhancing efficiency and performance. According to sources from Autocar, this vehicle will be available in petrol, PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle), and EV (Electric Vehicle) options.

The MG HS was initially launched in 2018 with a facelift in 2020. Rivals of the MG HS include the likes of the VW Tiguan, Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, Peugeot 3008, and Ford Kuga.
