European customers will soon be able to purchase the sleek, stylish, yet sporty Ariya NISMO - Nissan's first fully electric NISMO model in this market.
Nissan didn’t reveal many details about the European Ariya NISMO crossover, but mentioned it will feature “finely tuned brake pads” and a “fine-tuned e-4ORCE system for better power and torque distribution to the wheels.” Additionally, the model will have a black interior with red accents and Nismo seats “reminiscent [of] Formula E cars.”

While specifics are sparse, the Ariya Nismo was launched in Japan earlier this year with two powertrains. The entry-level model has a 66 kWh battery and a dual-motor all-wheel drive system producing 367 PS and 560 Nm of torque. A higher variant is available with a 91 kWh battery, offering 435 PS and 600 Nm of torque.
More details about the European model are expected later this year. Nissan confirmed the NISMO variant will be available in all countries where the Ariya is currently sold.
