Porsche has expanded its Macan Electric lineup with two new trims: an entry-level RWD variant and the Macan 4S. These additions bridge the gap between the Macan 4 and Macan Turbo variants launched earlier this year.

The new base model is a rear-wheel-drive Macan with a 100 kWh battery pack and a rear-axle-mounted electric motor. This setup provides 335 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque, reaching 60 mph in 5.4 seconds with a top speed of 136 mph. It is 243 lbs lighter than its AWD counterpart and offers a WLTP-estimated range of 398 miles. Standard features include air suspension and PASM, with optional rear-axle steering.

The Macan 4S features an updated rear-axle motor combined with a front motor, producing 442 hp and up to 509 hp with overboost. With Launch Control, it generates 578 lb-ft of torque, accelerating to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and reaching a top speed of 149 mph. Its range is estimated at 377 miles. The 4S comes with Adaptive Air Suspension and PASM as standard, with optional Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus and rear-axle steering.

Porsche has also introduced a new paint color, Slate Gray Neo, and a 20-inch 'Macan S' wheel design for the lineup. An off-road design package is available, enhancing the vehicle's approach angle and ground clearance. The package can be color-matched to the paintwork or finished in Vesuvius Gray and includes 21-inch off-road design alloys.

The Macan RWD starts at $75,300, and the Macan 4S at $84,900. The Macan 4 Electric is priced at $78,800, while the Macan Turbo Electric starts at $105,300, potentially exceeding $150,000 with options. All prices exclude a $1,995 delivery fee. Orders are now open, with deliveries expected in Q4 2024.
