The Wolfsburg Edition, based on the Tiguan SE, is designed as a value-oriented farewell featuring unique design elements and features. Available in four colors – Atlantic Blue, Deep Black Pearl, Platinum Grey, and Pure White – it boasts special 18-inch two-tone wheels.
Additional highlights include silver mirror caps, chrome door and bumper inserts, and a chrome “Bumperdillo” strip below the liftgate. It also features two-tone Wolfsburg badging and black window surrounds.
Inside, the Wolfsburg Edition has a Titan Black leatherette interior with exclusive Snap Orange contrast stitching, paying homage to the Habanero Orange color from the second-generation Tiguan's debut. Other features include illuminated sill plates, a 30-color ambient lighting system, and unique décor. Standard features include a digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch infotainment system, keyless access, and a power liftgate.
Powering the Wolfsburg Edition is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 184 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Pricing begins at $30,995, increasing to $32,495 with the 4Motion all-wheel drive system. In comparison, the Tiguan SE starts at $31,580, rising to $33,080 with all-wheel drive.
The redesigned Tiguan, set to debut for the 2025 model year, will be separate from the European version and significantly larger.
