A key highlight is that the Civic Si continues to offer a manual-only six-speed transmission. The MSRP has increased by $850 to $29,950 ($31,045 including destination).
Often seen as a “Type-R-lite,” the Civic Si remains the only car in its class with a six-speed manual, targeting driving enthusiasts. The car retains its turbocharged 1.5-liter engine with 200 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. The 2025 update focuses on enhancing the car’s handling.
Honda claims the new Civic Si is “the most fun-to-drive Si we’ve ever offered.” The chassis has been stiffened with new lower B-pillar and rear door sill supports, and the dampers have been recalibrated to improve torsional and bending rigidity.
The 2025 Civic Si also enhances its manual transmission by expanding rev-matching functionality. It now blips the throttle when shifting from second to first, adding to the car’s engaging character.
Exterior and Interior Updates
The exterior changes include a reprofiled front bumper with a new hex-pattern grille and slimmer foglight apertures for a cleaner look. The Si-specific wheels have been redesigned with a sportier double-spoke design in matte black.
