The Italian automaker announced this during its second-quarter financial release, revealing that deliveries of the hardcore SF90 XX Stradale have recently begun, while the regular SF90 Stradale and the 812 GTS have been phased out. The SF90 Spider was not mentioned and is presumed to remain in production for now.
Although the SF90 Stradale has been retired, Ferrari is working on a new model to replace it. This new version was spotted testing in August 2023, and while details are scarce, it might feature an upgraded version of the SF90's powertrain. This could mean a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 paired with three electric motors. The prototype appeared almost identical to the SF90, with minor changes, but the final design may incorporate elements from newer Ferrari models like the 296 and 12Cilindri.
The 812 GTS has also been discontinued. Additionally, Ferrari noted a decrease in deliveries of the Roma and 812 Competizione in the second quarter, indicating these models are also nearing the end of their lifecycles. The 812's discontinuation follows its replacement by the 12Cilindri. While a replacement for the Roma might be in the works, few details are available.
