Porsche has created a one-of-a-kind Taycan Turbo S called 'Celestial Jade'. The car showcases unique paintwork inspired by the precious gemstone jade.

Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur and Porsche Asia Pacific teamed up to build this special Taycan. They wanted to capture Southeast Asia's vibrant spirit and innovative nature in the design. The collaboration happened through Porsche's Sonderwunsch program, which allows for highly personalized vehicles.

The car's standout feature is its Chromaflair paint. It shifts between bright green with yellow and gold tones (Urban Bamboo) and dark grey with black and blue hues (Shifting Carbon). This paint job took about a year to develop and 80 hours to apply by hand.

Porsche didn't stop at the exterior. They added a special logo inspired by LongMa, a mythical creature with a dragon's head and horse's body. You'll find this logo on the door sills, headrests, and even projected onto the ground when you open the doors. The timing of this design is no coincidence - 2024 is the Chinese Zodiac Year of the Dragon.

The car also sports varnished carbon components that change color depending on how you look at them. You'll see these on the front bumper, side skirts, rear diffuser, and wheel airblades.

Under the hood, this Taycan Turbo S packs a punch. It's based on the 2024 model year, which means more power, more range, and faster acceleration than its predecessor. The car can hit 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds, which is 0.4 seconds quicker than before. At its peak, it puts out 700 kW (952 PS) of power.

The Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade made its world debut at a regional launch event in Singapore on September 5. From there, the one-of-a-kind vehicle will travel to various locations in Southeast Asia before being auctioned for charity in 2025.
