The teaser reveals a sportier design compared to the larger Gravity, with a sleek greenhouse that tapers toward the rear fenders. A scalloped hood highlights the LUCID branding, marking a shift from the design language of the Air and Gravity models. The crossover's full design will align with typical SUV aesthetics.
Lucid aims to start production of the new model in 2026. The company plans to leverage its expertise in efficiency to provide competitive range with a smaller battery, making it both cost-effective and eco-friendly.
This model follows the introduction of the Gravity SUV, which debuted last November. With a starting price under $80,000, the Gravity offers up to 440 miles (708 km) of range and a 0-60 mph (96 km/h) time of just 3.5 seconds. Production is set to begin later this year.
