Citroen's got a special treat for music lovers in Japan. They've just rolled out a new version of their C5 X car, and it's all about the sound.

The new C5 X Auditorium Edition is Citroen's way of making some noise before they stop making this model. It's got a fancy sound system from Bewith, a Japanese company that's really good at car audio.

This sound system isn't messing around. It's got two 1-inch dome tweeters and four 6.5-inch woofers. The speakers use aluminum-magnesium diaphragms, which make the sound clearer and smoother. They've even mounted these on aluminum boards to cut down on vibrations and muddy sounds.

But Citroen didn't stop there. They're throwing in a year of Spotify Premium with the car. And to make sure everyone knows this isn't your average C5 X, they've added some cool calligraphy stickers on the sides.

Under the hood, you'll find a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It pumps out 178 horsepower, works with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and sends power to the front wheels.

Now, let's talk money. The C5 X Auditorium Edition will set you back ¥5,689,500, or about $39,888. That's just ¥71,500 (about $500) more than the regular C5 X Max. When you consider that the sound system alone is worth about ¥300,000 ($2,103), it's not a bad deal.

If you're wondering about the most expensive C5 X, that's the Hypnos special edition. It's got a plug-in hybrid powertrain and is all about comfort. It costs ¥6,820,000, or about $47,812.

One thing to note: if you're after a plug-in hybrid C5 X Auditorium Edition, you're out of luck. Citroen's only offering this version with the regular engine.
