The new price tag includes the destination fee and represents a $200 increase from the 2024 model. Chevy's pricing strategy puts the Silverado thousands of dollars below its main competitors. Ford's F-150 for 2025 starts at $40,605, while the Ram 1500 and Toyota Tundra begin at $42,270 and $42,035, respectively.
Chevy has added some new features to the 2025 Silverado. Buyers will get two new color options: Cypress Gray and Riptide Blue. The truck will also sport new 20-inch wheels with a high gloss black finish.
The company has made changes across various trim levels. The Work Truck now comes with cruise control as standard. LT and higher trims will include a trailer brake controller. For the off-road enthusiasts, the ZR2 trim gets a premium audio system and front and rear park assist.
Under the hood, Chevy offers four engine options for the 2025 Silverado. These include a turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder with 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque, a 5.3-liter V8 producing 355 horsepower, a 6.2-liter V8 with 420 horsepower, and a 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-six generating 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque.
Chevrolet noted the Silverado Custom Trail Boss is the “most affordable factory-lifted, full-size, light-duty truck in the industry.” It starts at $53,795 and features a 2-inch lift as well as a Z71 suspension.
