The teaser showcases the Elroq’s new Tech-Deck Face, which features fresh LED Matrix beam headlights and new bonnet lettering.
The world premiere of the all-new Elroq will be held in Prague on 1 October at 19:30 CEST, broadcasted live on Škoda’s Instagram and TikTok channels. The event will feature a special media cube situated in the centre of the Czech capital, where the public can get their first close-up look at the vehicle.
The Elroq is based on the Volkswagen Group's MEB platform. This will be Skoda's third EV to reach showrooms, following the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe.
It will sit below the Enyaq and the upcoming budget-friendly Epiq city car in the Skoda line-up, facing rivals such as the Volvo EX30 and MG 4 EV.
Škoda plans to offer several powertrain options:
- Elroq 50: 55 kWh battery, 125 kW motor, rear-wheel drive
- Elroq 60: 63 kWh battery, 150 kW motor rear-wheel drive
- Elroq 85: 82 kWh battery, 210 kW motor rear-wheel drive
- Elroq 85x: 82 kWh battery, 220 kW motor, all-wheel drive
It's expected to cost around 35,000 euros.
Inside, the Elroq features a 13-inch infotainment touchscreen combined with a series of physical buttons to control climate functions. Materials are sustainably sourced and made from recycled plastic bottles and clothing.
The automaker claims the Elroq will have a range of more than 560 kilometers (about 348 miles) on the WLTP cycle. All variants will be able to charge from 10% to 80% in less than 28 minutes.
