Owners of the new Macan Electric will get complimentary charging for a year after they buy their car. They'll be able to use Plug&Charge at over 970 Electrify America stations nationwide. To get this benefit, drivers just need to sign up during the Porsche Charging Service process.
The Macan Electric uses an 800-volt system and can charge at up to 270 kilowatts in ideal conditions. That's one of the fastest charging speeds you'll find in any electric car right now.
Electrify America has the biggest open DC fast charging network in North America. They've got more than 970 stations with 4,350 chargers that can charge at up to 350 kilowatts. They're also the first open network to offer Plug&Charge, which makes charging easier.
Macan Electric owners will be able to use an app or their car's navigation system to find charging stations, check if they're available, and get directions.
