Lynk & Co has unveiled its first electric vehicle for Europe, the 02, a five-door crossover coupe that's also offered in China as the Z20.

The exterior of the 02 features an aerodynamically optimized front end with split lighting units and an active shutter intake. It also boasts a panoramic glass roof, a two-tone paint job, and 19- or 20-inch wheels. Flush-mounted door handles and a prominent rear spoiler with integrated taillights complete the sleek look.

The Lynk & Co 02 measures 4460 mm long, 1845 mm wide, and 1573 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2755 mm. It's the same length as a Toyota Corolla Cross but has a 117 mm longer wheelbase.

One unique feature of the 02 is the "hey honk" function. It's a customizable sound for friendly interactions with pedestrians and other road users. Testing has shown it's a preferable alternative to the typical startling horn sound.

Inside, the 02 has a minimalist cabin with a two-tier dashboard. The steering wheel has an aircraft-inspired design. There's a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.4-inch infotainment system. The interior uses recycled materials, translucent materials, and speckled accents.

The 02 is built on Geely's Sustainable Experience Architecture. It's powered by a rear-mounted electric motor that produces 272 hp (200 kW) and 343 Nm of torque. The motor gets its juice from a 66 kWh NMC lithium-ion battery.

Performance-wise, the 02 can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.5 seconds and has a top speed of 180 km/h. It has a range of up to 445 km on a single charge. Fast charging at 150 kW DC can take the battery from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes.
