Subaru's getting ready to roll out a special version of its popular sports car. The company will launch the 2025 BRZ Series.Purple early next year, with only 500 units hitting U.S. dealerships.

The limited-edition model will stand out with its Galaxy Purple Pearl paint job. Subaru's added some nice touches to make it even more eye-catching, like black badging and 18-inch wheels with a satin silver finish.

Inside, drivers will find front sport seats covered in black Ultrasuede with grey leather bolsters and matching stitching. Subaru's thrown in some cool features too. There's a red STI start button, an aluminum shift knob, and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The car also comes with an 8-inch infotainment system, premium audio, dual-zone climate control, and heated front seats.

Under the hood, the BRZ Series.Purple packs a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. It'll pump out 228 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. The power goes to the wheels through a six-speed manual transmission with an STI short throw shifter.

Subaru's added some performance goodies too. There's a flexible V-bar under the hood, a limited-slip differential, and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 summer tires.

The company's set the price at $35,445. That's $1,700 more than the Limited trim, which goes for $33,745. Subaru thinks the exclusive color and limited run justify the extra cost.
