Maserati's celebrating its 110th birthday with a special twist on its latest electric sports car. The Italian carmaker's rolling out just 110 GranTurismo Folgore models, calling them the GranTurismo 110 Anniversario.

The GranTurismo Folgore's already making waves as possibly Maserati's most high-tech car yet. Now, it's getting dressed up for the brand's big milestone.

Half of these birthday-edition cars will come in a matte copper color called Rame Folgore. The other 55 will sport a deep Blu Inchiostro finish. Both versions will turn heads with their black and copper wheels, special copper Trident badges, and "110" badges on the back pillars.

Inside, the copper cars get copper-colored 'denim' Econyl upholstery with matching stitching. The blue ones come with black Econyl seats and blue stitching for contrast.

Under the hood, these anniversary models pack the same punch as the standard Folgore. Three electric motors team up for a whopping 560kW of power, jumping to 610kW with overboost. That's paired with a hefty 1350Nm of torque. A 92.5kWh battery, promising up to 450km of range on a single charge under WLTP testing.
