Renault has published the first official images of the interior of the Twingo E-Tech, which is scheduled to debut in 2026. This model promises to be one of the most affordable electric cars on the market, with a price tag of around €20,000.

In October 2024, it was revealed that the Twingo Legend concept will be reborn into a production Twingo E-Tech electric car. At the Brussels Motor Show 2025, Renault unveiled photos of the interior and exterior of a prototype of the budget model.

The minimalist design is inspired by the first generation Twingo. Simple geometric lines combine with modern LED optics to create a balanced look for a city car. Inside, the Twingo E-Tech promises to be technologically advanced and spacious for its class.

The Twingo E-Tech will get a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch multimedia screen that supports advanced smartphone integration features. The second row sliding seat design allows the space to be adapted according to the needs of passengers or luggage.

The Twingo E-Tech is part of Renault's strategy to popularise electric vehicles. Competition is growing in the European budget city car segment and the Twingo E-Tech has every chance of becoming a popular choice thanks to its reasonable price, technology and functionality.

Series production of the Twingo E-Tech will be organised at the Renault Revoz plant in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. The expected production volume is up to 150,000 cars per year.
