Fiat has launched a configurator for the Grande Panda compact crossover on its website in Italy. Thanks to this, it became known what is included in the equipment and how the base version of the model looks like.

On the outside, the small crossover gets 16-inch steel wheels and halogen reflector headlights. The asceticism doesn't end there. The base version of the new Grande Panda doesn't even have a hint of a central multimedia screen. Where there should have been a 10.25-inch display, there is a piece of plastic, a smartphone holder and a USB port.

It's also worth noting that even in the base configuration, a number of systems and technologies are responsible for safety. There are: emergency call, driver and passenger airbags, front side airbags, front and rear curtain airbags, lane keeping assistant, brake assist, SLI (speed limit information), driver fatigue monitoring.

As for the price, in Fiat's home country of Italy, a car with a three-cylinder turbo engine, Mild Hybrid technology and a six-speed eDCT automatic transmission costs from €18,900 including 22 per cent VAT. For those who don't want to look at a piece of plastic in the front panel, for an extra 1,500 euros you can upgrade to the next level of equipment, where there will be a screen, LED headlights, cruise control, a split-folding rear sofa backrest, power windows for all doors and some other features.
