Kia Motors has published official images of the production version of its PV5 electric van. The official presentation of the new product will take place on 24 February at the Kia EV Day 2025 event in Spain.

Kia PV5 was demonstrated as a concept at CES 2024. Now the Korean manufacturer has revealed the commercial versions of the model: passenger and cargo. The PV5 retains the futuristic design of the concept, adding a plastic dodger to give it a more off-road look. The PV5 also gets large side mirrors and a prominent charging port cover in the centre of the front bumper.

Volkswagen competitor ID. Buzz has adopted the concept's high-mounted angular LED daytime running lights combined with directional indicators. The main headlamps are placed lower down, flanked by the charging port. A front camera is mounted under the company emblem, and it's hard to miss the adaptive cruise control radar under the licence plate. The Cargo version features side-opening bi-fold doors, while the passenger model has a one-piece lift-up boot door.

No interior images have been released yet, but from the looks of it we can conclude that the PV5 will get separate screens for the dashboard and infotainment system. Both versions feature massive handles on the front pillars, with the passenger model featuring a larger glazing area.

More information, including specifications, is expected as early as next week.
