The luxury British carmaker has taken its already impressive Vanquish coupe and given it the convertible treatment. The Volante keeps the coupe's powerful 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, which pumps out 824 hp and 1000 Nm of torque. That's enough muscle to propel this roadster from 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds.
Aston Martin has fitted the Vanquish Volante with a fabric roof that uses a K-fold mechanism. The top can open in 14 seconds and close in 16 seconds, similar to the new Vantage Roadster. To make up for the rigidity lost by removing the fixed roof, engineers added underbody bracing. This makes the Volante 75% stiffer laterally than the previous DBS Volante.

Under the skin, the Vanquish Volante uses an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission and an electronic limited-slip differential. The suspension features Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers to keep the ride smooth.
Inside the cabin, drivers will find a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen running Aston Martin's own software. Music lovers will appreciate the standard 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system. For those wanting something truly bespoke, Aston Martin's Q division offers extensive interior customization options.

At 1930kg, the Volante weighs 95 kg more than its hardtop sibling. This extra heft makes it 0.1 seconds slower to 100 km/h compared to the coupe. But let's be honest - when you're cruising with the top down in a V12-powered Aston, who's counting tenths of a second?
Aston Martin hasn't revealed pricing yet, but expect the Volante to command a small premium over the coupe's £334,000 starting price. Production will be limited to fewer than 1000 cars per year across both Vanquish variants. The first deliveries are set to start rolling out between July and September.
