The Nissan N7 has a coefficient of aerodynamic drag (Cd) of just 0.208, one of the best among production cars, second only to the Mercedes-Benz EQS (0.202). However, as it often happens in the pursuit of perfect streamlining, the design of the car turned out to be rather restrained and, perhaps, not too expressive.
The interior of the novelty is designed in a minimalist style. The centrepiece is a 15.6-inch tablet with the multimedia system interface, located next to the digital dashboard. The almost complete absence of physical buttons can cause controversy, as with the exception of the controls on the steering wheel, all actions have to be performed via touch surfaces.

The front seats have an intelligent position adjustment system using data from 49 sensors. An integrated 12-point massager and a miniature fridge/heater in the centre armrest can cool drinks down to -6°C or heat them up to 55°C.

The model has a 400-volt architecture and can be equipped with one of two batteries: 58 and 73 kW∙h. Depending on the configuration, output ranges from 218 to 272 hp (160-200 kW). Maximum range with the larger battery is claimed to be 635 kilometres on the Chinese CLTC cycle.
