The Corolla Hatchback FX Edition is inspired by the Corolla FX16 model produced between 1987 and 1988. It features a black tailgate spoiler, new body colours including Inferno Orange (pictured), Ice Cap White and Blue Crush, as well as classic-style model name lettering. Another notable new feature is the 18-inch white glossy wheels.
In the cabin - sports seats with black trim, suede inserts and orange stitching, referring to the seats FX16. Thread in the same colour is also present on the door panels, front fascia, steering wheel and transmission selector cover. The Corolla Hatchback's standard 8-inch touchscreen and 7-inch digital instrument cluster are also standard on this version.

As for technology, there are no changes: under the bonnet is the same 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine as in the regular Corolla Hatchback, producing 169 hp. The drive is front-wheel drive.
Toyota has not yet disclosed the price of the Corolla Hatchback FX Edition. For reference, the base version of the Corolla SE costs from $24,875. Consequently, the FX Edition will cost a few thousand dollars more. It will go on sale this autumn.
