The DS N°8 Présidentiel is painted in Sapphire Blue with black accents. The main design feature is the DS Luminascreen grille, which is illuminated in the colours of the French flag - Blue, White and Red. The colours of the tricolour are repeated on special emblems, and the front bumper has flag holders. The soft folding roof emphasises the parade status of the model.
The interior is also dominated by blue colour - Dream Blue alcantara and Nappa leather are used, complemented by pleated door panels. One of the most impressive elements of the trim is a mosaic of dyed rye straw, handmade in the shape of a fan. This unconventional solution replaces the usual wooden inlays and emphasises the attention to craftsmanship.

The presidential car also gets a digital instrument cluster and a 16-inch centre display for the multimedia system. Under the centre console are hidden controls - presumably for activating special signals.
DS does not disclose technical details, but the claimed range of up to 750 kilometres indicates that the car is based on the front-wheel drive version of the DS N°8. This is likely to be a 245bhp powertrain and a 97.2kWh battery. However, given the supposed armour protection, the actual dynamics and efficiency may differ from the standard one.
