Volkswagen has updated the T-Roc crossover range in the UK with two new trims - Style Design and Black Edition Plus. They replaced the previous Style and Black Edition.

Both versions have 19-inch Misano Black alloy wheels, electric tailgate, rear view camera, keyless entry, panoramic roof and metallic body paint with contrasting black roof. The Style Design package also includes a design package with black mirror housings and IQ.Light matrix headlights.

The most interesting thing in this story is that the Black Edition Plus (pictured below) retained the same price - £36,515, although if ordered separately, such a list of additional options would cost £3,225. The Style Design trim costs £33,205, which is £1,000 more than the previous Style, but includes £5,520 worth of options.

After the discontinuation of the R-Line version, the new trim levels will occupy an intermediate position between the basic Life and Match versions (from £29,315) and the top T-Roc R and R Black Edition (up to £46,640).

The Volkswagen T-Roc is available with 1.0 TSI (115 hp) and 1.5 TSI (150 hp) petrol engines. The company's website also currently offers a diesel version in the R-Line trim with a 2.0 TDI engine (150 hp). Transmissions: 6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG.
