Skoda Auto presented a modern interpretation of the Skoda Favorit hatchback. If such a model were released now, it would be made as a fully electric crossover with batteries under the floor.

The modern version of the Skoda Favorit was created by designer Lyudmil Slavov. David Stingl was responsible for the final visualization of the project. Slavov reinterpreted the model according to the Skoda Modern Solid brand style, spending about 120 hours of personal time. However, he deliberately rejected some characteristic elements of modern Skodas, including the Tech-Deck Face front. The designer explained this decision by stating that the original Favorit was already very minimalist, and additional changes would harm the integrity of the composition.

In addition to the "civilian" version, Lyudmil Slavov also created a racing concept inspired by the rally heritage of the Favorit. It features protruding bumpers made of soft-touch material, which he introduced at a certain stage of development to refer back to the plastic bumpers of the original Favorit.

The original Skoda Favorit hatchback was introduced in 1987. Despite being developed under the constraints of the Eastern Bloc, it managed to compete with Western cars in terms of utility and driving quality. It was equipped with a 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine producing between 40 and 50 kW (54 to 68 hp) in various versions. Its design was developed by the legendary Bertone studio. In addition to the hatchback, Skoda also produced the Forman station wagon. The model underwent several updates and ceased to exist in 1994, making way for the Felicia.
