The Jesko Absolut has set the 0-400-0 km/h record before. In July 2024 it reached 400 km/h and stopped in 27.83 seconds. Recently, however, this time was beaten by the Rimac Nevera R with a time of 25.79 seconds. Koenigsegg did not want to be defeated by the competitor and made the Jesko Absolut even faster.
For this, Koenigsegg developed the Absolut Overdrive system. New software limits the intervention of the traction control system at start-up. As a result, the same test vehicle that completed the acceleration to 400 km/h and braking in 27.83 seconds last year now took the same path in just 25.21 seconds. This result becomes even more impressive when considering that it was achieved on a wet runway.
The Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut also showed several other impressive results. The acceleration to 400 km/h (248.5 mph) took 16.77 seconds, while braking from 400 to 0 km/h (248.5 to 0 mph) took 8.44 seconds. Accelerating from 0 to 250 to 0 mph (0 to 402.3 to 0 km/h) took 25.67 seconds.
For the fortunate owners of the Jesko Absolut, there is also more good news. Koenigsegg will also provide an update for customer vehicles.
