Fully electric DS No.4 E-Tense with a range of 450 km

DS has introduced the electric crossover No.4 E-Tense – the successor to the DS4 model. The new model is positioned between a compact hatchback and a full-sized SUV, comparable to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the Kia EV6.

The DS No.4 E-Tense is equipped with a 58.3 kWh battery, allowing a range of up to 450 km according to the WLTP cycle. The battery consists of 18 modules with improved chemistry to enhance energy density and space utilization. So far, only one variant of the drive with a front motor of 213 HP and a torque of 343 Nm has been announced. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes 7.1 seconds.

A fast charger with a power output of up to 120 kW is supported: From 20 to 80%, the battery charges in half an hour, and charging the range by 100 km takes 11 minutes.

The specified trunk volume is 390 l and 1,260 l with the rear seats folded down. Dimensions:

Depending on the equipment, the vehicle can feature a head-up display, an infrared night vision camera, as well as the proprietary Iris system with ChatGPT support and voice control. A digital dashboard, a 10-inch touchscreen multimedia system, and a V2L function that allows for charging external devices from the vehicle battery are also available.

Currently, prices are known in Great Britain. It is expected that the price of the vehicle in the PALLAS trim will start at £36,995, while the more expensive ETOILE trim is expected to be at £41,860. The E-Tense No. 4 is expected to be launched in the fourth quarter of this year. Orders are already open.
