At the IAA Mobility exhibition in Munich, Škoda unveiled the latest version of its Epiq concept. The production model will be the most affordable electric Škoda in Europe.

The new concept is close to the serial sample and differs significantly from last year’s version. It has redesigned LED blocks, grille, and bumpers, and new mirrors have appeared. The vehicle, 4.1 meters long, is comparable in size to the serial Fabia and slightly larger than the Indian Kylaq, while remaining the most compact car in the brand.

Epiq became the first model fully in the brand’s Modern Solid style. Distinctive features include a Tech-Deck front end, thin T-shaped LEDs, a pronounced "tornado" line, and relief elements around the wheel arches. The concept showcased in Munich was in a matte Cashmere color with glossy black accents, gray overlays, and new wheels.

The interior is still kept secret, but it can be assumed that it will repeat the solutions from the related VW ID. Cross: an 11-inch digital instrument cluster, a 13-inch multimedia touchscreen, complemented by physical buttons and touch elements. Wireless charging has also been confirmed.

Despite its compact size, the cabin promises space for five people, luggage hooks, hidden niches, and a 475-liter trunk.

The technical part shares the platform MEB Entry with the Volkswagen ID. Polo, ID. Cross, and Cupra Raval. Škoda promises a range of up to 425 km (5 km more than the ID. Cross) and a front electric motor with a power of 211 hp (155 kW).

The assembly of the Epiq will be organized at the Volkswagen plant in Navarra, Spain, and sales will begin in mid-2026. Škoda states that the price will be comparable to the gasoline Kamiq, which is about €25,300 in Germany. Competitors include: Ford Puma Gen-E, Jeep Avenger, Kia EV2, Mini Aceman, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Renault 4 E-Tech.
