The updated Volvo XC90 is now available in a Black Edition trim

Volvo Cars has introduced the XC90 in a special Black Edition. This version is available as both a plug-in hybrid and a mild hybrid.

Until recently, Black Edition models were only available in Onyx Black color. Now the exterior color palette includes three more options: Crystal White, Denim Blue, and Vapour Grey. Regardless of the chosen color, the car is fully designed in Scandinavian style.

On the outside, each Black Edition car is distinguished by unique details: the logo, grille, rear logo, and wheel rims are done in glossy black.

Customers can choose between two fully black interior options. These include coal-colored ceiling upholstery and aluminum decorative elements with a checkerboard pattern. Two options for coal-colored seating material are also available. Four striking exterior colors are offered to choose from. 

The XC90 Black Edition is presented alongside the XC60 and XC40 with mild hybrid technology. It is expected that the EX30 Black Edition will be added to the lineup later.
