Škoda presented the Fabia 130 — a special version of the hatchback dedicated to the anniversary of the Czech automobile company. This is the most powerful and fastest of all serial cars in the series.

The Fabia 130 is built on the Monte Carlo trim and stands out from other Fabia models with modifications from Škoda's engineering department.

Under the hood is a tuned 1.5 TSI evo2 engine with a power of 130 kW (177 hp) instead of the standard 110 kW (150 hp). The engine now develops greater power starting from 3500 rpm. Peak power is achieved between 5750 and 6000 rpm, and maximum torque of 250 Nm is in the range of 1500 to 4000 rpm.

The seven-speed DSG transmission has been specifically retuned:

  • Increased shift points for more intense acceleration
  • Sport mode with special settings
  • Changed logic during braking for quick re-acceleration

The new version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds — 0.4 seconds faster than the standard version. Acceleration from 60 to 100 km/h is 3.8 seconds (compared to 4.1), and from 80 to 120 km/h is 4.8 seconds (compared to 5.3). The maximum speed reaches 228 km/h.

The Fabia 130 features a sports suspension, lowering ground clearance by 15 mm, paired with 18-inch wheels. The steering has been reworked for more precise feedback and instant response in the adapted Normal and Sport modes.

A two-stage dynamic control system has been introduced. The traction control system (ASR) can be turned off to allow controlled sliding. The ASR Sport + ESC Sport mode allows the wheels to slip more, and the stability system intervenes later — for spirited but safe driving.
