Toyota shared details about its lineup for the upcoming Japan Mobility Show 2025. The focus is on a new concept that apparently anticipates a new chapter in the history of one of the brand’s best-selling and most well-known cars – the Corolla.
The concept first appeared in a teaser campaign called «To You, Toyota», setting the tone for a full debut in Tokyo at the end of the month. It hardly resembles the current 12th generation Corolla. The vehicle showcases sharp modern lines and proportions more fitting for an electric vehicle.

The front of the concept vaguely resembles the current Prius, with the addition of a thin LED strip across the width of the bumper. The front fenders seem to house the charging port. Other features include a sloping window line, sculpted side panels, and regular door handles. All this complements a "ducktail" spoiler and pixel-style taillight graphics.

The Japan Mobility Show will begin on October 30th. If the concept truly heralds the future of the Corolla, it may be the most radical transformation of the model in recent decades.
