As part of the update, Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are combined into one model, the Grand Wagoneer, with a redesigned look and an all-new powertrain.

The design of the 2026 model year Grand Wagoneer largely inherits the electric Wagoneer S. The SUV has a completely new front end with a minimalist grille, featuring seven slots. It is illuminated and visually transitions smoothly into the new headlights. The central air intake is framed by new T-shaped daytime running lights. Additionally, the Wagoneer emblem on the hood has been replaced with the Jeep logo.

The rear features new LED taillights with a full-width connecting strip and the American brand emblem. The model has also moved away from chrome but received updated wheels ranging from 18 to 22 inches.

Jeep has said very little about the changes in the interior. However, it is known that high-end trims now feature a new head-up display. It is characterized by a "significantly larger field of view and twice the virtual image range compared to previous versions."

The Grand Wagoneer is also equipped with a 12-inch central display of the Uconnect5 system. It replaces the previous 10.1-inch display, which was previously standard in the Wagoneer.

Under the hood is a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine with 420 hp (313 kW) and 635 Nm of torque. However, the main news is an entirely new version with a series-type hybrid system, also known as a "Range-Extended Electric Vehicle" (REEV).

This system was created for the Ram 1500 REV pickup, formerly known as the Ramcharger. It includes a 92 kWh battery as well as a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine acting as a generator. The total stated output is 647 hp (482 kW), and torque is 620 lb-ft (840 Nm). Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) takes just 5 seconds, and the range exceeds 500 miles (805 km).

Production of the gasoline-powered 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer will begin later this year. Prices start at "under $65,000". The REEV version will enter production a little later.
