The new headlights are notable for not having external lenses (diffusers). Instead, they are equipped with "sealed modular LED emitters" with water and dust protection to IP68 standard.
The manufacturer claims that vehicle owners with such tuning will no longer have to worry about cracks or fogging of the headlights.
Oracle Lighting also stated that the headlights are designed with serviceability in mind. Users can replace individual components, such as high and low beams, as well as daytime running lights. This sets them apart from most modern headlights, which need to be replaced entirely.
The company also announced that the headlights have a sculpted housing that can be painted. This opens up new possibilities for vehicle owners to personalize the appearance of their cars.
In addition to the aforementioned Tacoma, Oracle will offer headlights for the Toyota 4Runner and Ford F-150. The release of additional models is also planned, with announcements coming soon.
