Polestar cars will get the advanced Google Gemini voice assistant
The Swedish electric car brand Polestar announced the integration of the AI-based (AI) Google Gemini voice assistant into all its models, starting with the Polestar 2.
In Polestar cars, the new Gemini assistant will replace Google Assistant. Generative AI enables users to communicate with the car in natural language.
In addition to simple commands, users can expand interaction capabilities with Gemini Live. To activate, say: «Okay, Google, let's talk». Then, you can brainstorm, ask clarifying questions, and access new learning opportunities on the go.
The technology demonstration will take place at the Slush exhibition, held November 19-20 in Helsinki, Finland. The Google Gemini voice assistant will be installed in the Polestar 5.
Polestar users will be able to use Gemini starting from 2026. The English version will be the first to be launched.
