European sales of the Mazda CX-5, the first model with next-generation electronic architecture and an advanced interface with Google Built-in, are starting.

Mazda E/E Architecture+ integrates electronic control units, software layers, communication networks, and external servers for wireless function updates and advanced driver assistance systems.

The new digital architecture lays the foundation for future software-defined Mazda cars. Inside the car, there is a 12.9 or 15.6-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, and a head-up display. Physical buttons and switches were retained for essential functions.

Google Built-in is included in all configurations. The first CX-5 models will have Google Assistant, but over time it will be replaced by the AI-powered Google Gemini Assistant. The system allows voice control of climate and navigation, and it is also compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Certain configurations received a Bose audio system with 12 speakers.

The CX-5 is equipped with a 2.5-liter e-Skyactiv G gasoline engine with Mazda M Hybrid technology. The model will appear in European showrooms in December 2025 with a starting price of €32,560 (price in Poland).
