Volkswagen ID. Unyx 07: first photos and specs revealed

Chinese media have spread the first photos and specifications of the Volkswagen ID. Unyx 07 electric car, created by the joint venture Volkswagen Anhui and Xpeng.

ID. Unyx 07 is a mid-size electric sedan built on the China Electrical Architecture (CEA) platform. The car is equipped with an electric motor with a power of 170 kW (231 hp) and a battery with a capacity of 59.9 kWh. The declared range is 558 km.

Judging by the photos, the model is styled in the signature ID. family style for the Chinese market. The front part received a closed panel, matrix headlights with an LED strip across the entire width of the body, and an illuminated Volkswagen logo. The bumper features darkened elements and an aggressive design of the lower part.

Vehicle dimensions: length - 4853 mm, width - 1852 mm, height - 1566 mm, wheelbase - 2826 mm. In profile, the model resembles a fastback with flush door handles and a rising window line. The ID. Unyx 07 is available with 19- and 20-inch wheels. At the rear, there is a single light across the entire width, an illuminated logo, a small spoiler, and a black diffuser.

The interior has not yet been shown, but it is expected to have a layout similar to the ID. Unyx 06: a separate central screen, a head-up display, and a panoramic roof.

ID. Unyx 07 was created by the Chinese team. According to rumors, the development of the model took about 18 months.
