Škoda confirmed that its flagship electric seven-seater crossover, based on the Vision 7S concept presented more than three years ago, will be named Peaq. The world premiere of the model is scheduled for the summer of 2026.

According to the automaker, the name emphasizes the vehicle's position at the top of the Czech brand's model lineup.

Peaq is conceived as a seven-seater electric vehicle for those who value versatility - combining everyday use, leisure, and travel. Škoda notes that the model will rely on the brand's key values: space, practicality, and comfort, as well as the Simply Clever solutions.

Škoda Auto board member for sales and marketing Martin Jahn stated that with the Vision 7S concept, the company ventured into new territory and formed a clear vision for the brand's development. According to him, the new flagship elevates values such as space and practicality to a fundamentally new level, and the name Peaq indicates the vehicle's place in Škoda's portfolio and marks the direction of the brand's electric future.
