Hyundai showcased the Staria Camper concept at the CMT fair in Stuttgart, where the company is also gathering visitor reactions to assess interest in a potential production version for the European market.

In the event of a production launch, the Staria Camper will be based on the Staria Electric. Although the exhibition model is probably not yet fully electric. The published images show a large grille with copper accents, while the electric Staria has a closed front with an integrated charging port.

The electric version of the model was unveiled a few days ago at the motor show in Brussels. Sales will begin in 2026.

The Staria Electric will receive a battery with a capacity of 84 kWh and an electric motor with a power output of 160 kW, known from the Ioniq 5, as well as an 800-volt architecture and a powerful charging system. The range is estimated at around 400 km in the WLTP cycle, with final data to be announced later.

The camper is equipped with a fully integrated, electrically operated pop-up roof in vehicle color, designed with the model’s aerodynamics in mind. The roof integrates solar cells that can generate up to 2.6 kWh of energy on a sunny day for the traction battery or the autonomous operation of the equipment.

The interior is equipped with a 36-liter refrigerator, rotating front seats, and rear seats that can be converted into a sleeping area for two people at the push of a button. The equipment also includes a compact sink, an outdoor shower, and an awning.
