The electric crossover AUDI E7X, developed by the SAIC Volkswagen joint venture, was officially unveiled during cold weather tests in China. It is a large model with a length of over five meters and a maximum total output of 500 kW (670 hp).

AUDI — an independent brand for the Chinese market, created by Volkswagen and SAIC. It does not have the usual four-ring emblem, and the name is written in capital letters. In 2025, the brand launched its first model — the E5 Sportback. According to China EV DataTracker, 6,650 vehicles were sold in one year.

E7X represents the production version of the E-SUV concept introduced in November 2025. The published photos show the top version of the E7X. The vehicle is equipped with 22-inch wheels, cameras instead of side mirrors, a lidar on the roof, additional cameras in the central pillars, and active air intakes in the front bumper.

The model features are already known from the certification application for the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The length of the E7X is 5,049 mm, the width is 1,997 mm, the height is 1,710 mm, and the wheelbase is 3,060 mm.

The crossover received an illuminated logo and LED optics with a dot pattern. An interesting detail is the counterweights in the hub caps, thanks to which the "AUDI" lettering always remains horizontal. The model also has retractable door handles, grooved fenders, and a sloping hood.

The base rear-wheel-drive version is equipped with an electric motor with 300 kW (402 hp). The all-wheel-drive modification develops 500 kW (670 hp). The top speed is 230 km/h. Two battery variants are provided: 100 kWh and 109.3 kWh with a stated range of 635 to 751 km in the CLTC cycle.
