Orders for the Legacy Edition are accepted only until the end of March. Prices in Romania start at 68,900 euros. Several leasing programs are also available. This version is expected to be one of the last produced at the BMW Spartanburg plant, where production of the G05, according to preliminary information, will end in July.
The next generation X5 with the index G65 is rumored to hit the production line in August. The first versions to be released are expected to be the 40 xDrive and 40d xDrive. In December, they are expected to be joined by the rear-wheel-drive 40, the 50e xDrive plug-in hybrid, the M Performance M60e xDrive version, and the fully electric iX5 60 xDrive.
In 2027, the lineup may be supplemented with the M60 xDrive version with a V8 and two additional electric modifications — the iX5 50 xDrive and iX5 M70 xDrive. In 2028, the flagship of the family is expected to be the X5 M with a more powerful V8, and the debut of the fully electric X5 M is also anticipated.
