A new base electric motor with a power of 150 hp (110 kW) has appeared. It will be paired with a 51 kWh battery, providing a range of up to 339 km, or a 69 kWh battery with a claimed range of up to 476 km. The manufacturer has not yet disclosed the charging power. The new version will be available, in particular, for the Cross Country version.
The entire EX30 lineup will receive support for Vehicle-to-Load technology. It allows external devices to be powered from the traction battery via a special adapter purchased separately. This feature will also be available for already sold cars due to an OTA update planned for the summer.

Another important change concerns the multimedia system interface. It has been redesigned and simplified to provide faster access to key functions. The control has been completely revised, and a new customizable tool panel has been added, where the most important functions can be placed.
Additionally, two new trim levels will be introduced — Harvest and Black. The Harvest version features a light interior made from recycled materials, while the Black version is characterized by the predominance of black tones in the interior.
Information about prices and the start dates of sales for the 2026 Volvo EX30 model year will be announced later.
