Giulia took first place in the "Midsize" class for the ninth time. The Tonale crossover won in the "Compact SUV" segment. Notably, the Giulia has been in production since 2015 but still has high appeal in Germany.
Nearly 95,000 readers of one of Germany's most influential automotive publications participated in the voting. The sports sedan received 22.7% of the votes, and the brand's first C-SUV received 8.4%.
Alfa Romeo Stelvio also showed a good result, taking second place among import "Large SUVs" with 9.9% of the votes. Alfa Romeo Junior finished fourth in the import "Small SUVs" category.
All four current Alfa Romeo models showed above-average results, confirming the brand's stable popularity among German customers. Germany remains the second most important market for Alfa Romeo in terms of sales volumes.
This year's "BEST CARS" award was held for the 50th time. About 95,000 people participated in the voting, choosing favorites among 480 models in 13 categories, including separate standings for import brands. The official award ceremony will take place in June in Stuttgart.
