The UX 300e appeared in 2020 and was Lexus' first series-production electric vehicle. The compact crossover is based on the hybrid model of the same name. Initially, the car was equipped with a 54.3 kWh battery. In 2022, the model received a 72.8 kWh battery, increasing the range to approximately 450 km according to the WLTP cycle.
According to Auto Express, the electric version has disappeared from the Lexus online configurator in the UK. A Lexus UK spokesperson confirmed that the model was withdrawn from sale at the end of 2025, without specifying reasons. The most likely factor is low demand.
A check of local Lexus websites showed that in Germany, France, the UK, and the USA, the UX is now available only in the hybrid 300h version. In Germany, prices for the UX 300h start at 45,200 euros, and the F Sport version with the same powertrain can cost up to 63,100 euros. In France, the starting price is 45,000 euros. In the USA, the model is offered from 38,250 dollars excluding taxes.
The fully electric UX 300e has not disappeared completely yet. In Norway, it is sold in the Edition35 version. The cost of this version is 405,000 Norwegian kroner, which is approximately equivalent to 36,100 euros.
