The Ram 1500 TRX pickup received a special 712-horsepower Sandblast Edition for desert racing, prepared with input from Ken Block.

The pickup truck features rich base equipment, sandy body paint, special interior design, with contrasting Light Frost stitching and wheels, and costs $ 100,080, in the US market the cars will go on sale this summer.

The Sandblast Edition features a wide range of basic equipment and a special design. The SUV comes standard with the TRX Level 2 Equipment Group package, which, among other things, includes heated rear seats and a steering wheel, an adjustable pedal assembly, a head-up display and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. In addition, the Sandblast Edition version is distinguished by body paint, custom interior and wheels.

For the special edition, Mojave Sand was chosen in combination with black graphics and beadlock-compatible 18-inch wheels. The pickup has a panoramic sunroof and an additional LED brake light on the cab, a sprayed protective coating for the cargo compartment and brackets for securing cargo. Inside, there are Light Frost decorative stitching, TRX embroideries, carbon fiber inserts, a special plate and an image on the pickup’s digital “tidy” in Mojave Sand. 

Under the hood is a supercharged HEMI V8 6.2 developing 712 horsepower and 881 Nm of torque. The motor is equipped with a dual-flow air intake system. The transmission is an eight-speed automatic and a BorgWarner transfer case. The front suspension is independent, with a five-link Dana 60 axle at the rear. Shock absorbers - electronically controlled Bilstein Black Hawk e2 with three internal compression stroke limiters and remote reservoirs.
