The official premiere of the new Toyota Crown will take place on July 15. However, quite a lot is already known about this car. In particular, the design was revealed in patent images, and the Japanese media even found out the dimensions: length, width, height will be 4930 x 1840 x 1540 mm, and the wheelbase will be 2850 mm.
Insiders say the next Crown will move from the TNGA-L rear-wheel drive/all-wheel drive platform to the TNGA-K front-wheel drive/all-wheel drive platform used in models such as the Avalon, Camry, Highlander and RAV4. In this case, the engines will be conventional gasoline, and we should also expect several hybrid versions and even an electric version.

It is also interesting that the new Toyota Crown may enter the US market and replace the Avalon model there.
