New generation Honda Civic Type R launch date announced
Honda has released a new teaser video and photo of the next generation Civic Type R hot hatchback.
The most powerful production car Honda has ever offered in the US, the all-new 2023 Honda Civic Type R, will make its world premiere on July 20. Sales of new items will begin this fall.
In a fresh teaser video, Honda offered to listen to the sound of the Civic Type R engine, showed the front of the car and once again reminded that the hatchback prototype set a lap record among front-wheel drive cars at the Japanese Suzuka track.

At the moment, it is known that the hatchback is likely to receive a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with more than 300 hp. Perhaps it will develop a little more than 306 hp. or 316 hp available from the previous generation CTR, depending on region. The gearbox will be manual.
